Vivere Live in Tuscany [CD/DVD] Overview

Disc One is an eight song CD and Disc Two is a full length DVD: Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli grew up in Lajatico, a rural village in Tuscany, where his family still farms nearby. Last July, on the slopes of his ancient hill town, a special theater was constructed for a one-night-only concert of his greatest popular hits along with new songs performed to honor the occasion. Some famous musical friends dropped by and the magical result is Andrea Bocelli Vivere Live in Tuscany.

Joining Andrea for the new songs are grandissimo sassofonista Kenny G, trumpeter Chris Botti, piano virtuoso Lang Lang, Italian pop star Eliza, and legendary musician, songwriter and producer David Foster. Helping with the hits: favorite divas Sarah Brightman, Heather Headley and Laura Pausini.

Surveying the breathtaking landscape that provides the backdrop for the festivities, Bocelli introduces the telecast with the passion of a true Toscano. It s my land, he says, a land that loves silence as much as I do. If I break this silence with my voice, it s because I want to pay tribute. Music penetrates this land; it flows across it and flies off far away. It s a message of love.

Musical highlights include the song that launched Bocelli s career, Il Mare Calmo Della Sera ; the one that brought him international stardom, Time to Say Goodbye, in duet with Sarah Brightman; Laura Pausini joining him for Dare to Live ( Vivere ); Bocelli and Heather Headley reprising the popular Vivo Per Lei, plus several new selections from the just-released The Best of Andrea Bocelli - Vivere album (Sugar Music/Decca). Also featured is a meltingly romantic medley of songs from his 2006 collection, Amore: Bésame Mucho, Somos Novios ( It s Impossible ) and I Can t Help Falling in Love with You.

Hemingway's Whiskey (Deluxe Edition CD/DVD) Overview

Whether it s an up close look at his high energy live shows with the Summer In 3D movie, or keeping his ticket prices affordable, giving fans more has always been important to Kenny Chesney. That continues with a limited edition CD + DVD, Deluxe Edition of Hemingway s Whiskey. The package includes two bonus tracks and an in-depth conversation with Chesney about each of the songs. The Deluxe CD Version will be available for a limited time only.

Of the Deluxe Edition Chesney said, Adding a few songs is kind of the same approach we take to our shows. Every record is different, every night is different. You start feeling good and you want to do 10 extra minutes, 20 extra minutes, extra 3 hours -- whatever it is. This is exactly the same. We put two extra songs and conversation on the record because there are fans that have been a part of my life for a long time and really love our music and have really invested a lot emotionally. You can call it 'going the extra mile' or whatever. I wanted to give them something special. With 30 minutes of content, the DVD includes a personal thank you from Kenny to the fans and a video cut by cut on each of the 13 tracks on the Deluxe Edition. It also includes an in-studio look at the recording of You & Tequila, the duet with blues rocker Grace Potter.

We Cry Out (CD/DVD) Overview

We Cry Out is the second release from Jesus Culture and the first to combine the CD with a DVD of the live experience. The songs from this CD/DVD have travelled the world and made an incredible impact on the youth of this generation.

"The testimonies that have come as a result of We Cry Out are staggering. We have received reports of people getting saved watching the DVD, people encountering God in a fresh way, people who every morning put the CD on and just weep. Our heart was the same on this CD as our previous CD Everything. We wanted to capture the live worship experience happening at our Jesus Culture conferences and release the same encounter. We also added a DVD so people could join in the live worship in a new way. Kim Walker, Chris Quiala, and Melissa How do an incredible job as they usher this new breed of revivalists into the presence of God." Producer, Banning Liebscher.
