TV/Ep Best Review
I'm a huge LTJ fan and was extremely excited about this release even not knowing a single song. Well the ensemble of choices does not disappoint. I honestly don't want to give away anything about the tracks because that was the fun of listening to the ep. I was smiling, laughing, and being impressed more than i have by a cd in a long time. The band is truly talented in playing, performing, arranging, and upgrading music be it originals or covers. Less Than Jake have an extensive catalog of music, all of which is worth checking out. I bought Greased when i was 15 and have continued to buy every single thing they release. True originals. And a nice bunch of guys to boot!

TV/Ep Overview
Working on a 17 year long careet of playing music and touring the world Less Than Jake has amassed a discography that equals the sum of several bands, from full lengths to picture disks, from records die cut to look like cheese to seven inch vinyl records packed in a pie tin. The band are no strangers to going out on a creative limb, with the release of Less Than Jake's new 'TV/EP' they step out further on that branch.
Recording the roughly 13 minutes and 16 tracks at bass player Toger's home studio the band dive into television theme songs and television commercials that draw from vintage to modern day. Imagine a world where q pop punk and ska band is in control of the music on your t.v. and you can understand where this release is going. Tracklisted as channels, the band is keeping the names of the songs to themselves before the release in hope that the randomness keeps the listener in the moment to feel like they are flipping channels of a t.v.
