Save EA Sports Active
First I would like to say, I love this game. I bought the Wii Fit, and after using it actively for a month, I got no results. I've tried going to the gym everyday, burning 700 calories everyday on an elliptical, and lost no weight. I'm tried low calorie diets and lost no weight. After using the Active for eleven workouts I'm actually seeing a decline in my weight. I can actually feel the exercises getting easier because I'm getting stronger. My only two gripe with this game is that my leg strap is tearing. I want to keep on playing this game, I actually want to play it more, just because it's that effective, and it would be a shame if I had to stop playing it just because of some faulty equipment. I would like to give this game a five star rating, but unfortunately I can't because the equipment given to me is faulty. The other gripe I have is that sometimes I'll do an exercises and it won't detect my movements, and it will chastise me for that. This fortunately only happens with the biceps curls w/ shoulder presses exercise. I would recommend this game, but I don't think I can until EA recalls the leg straps and replaces them with something that is not as weak. Get more detail about EA Sports Active.
Discount Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box
I loved this game from the second I started it up. At first, the mysteries kept poping up one after another without solving any and that bugged me, but as the game went on and I started to get the chance to solve the mysteries, I was fine with it. I loved most of the puzzles and was able to solve them without too much trouble, though a few were much harder than I expected, but I loved that. The final puzzle was awesome! I love how it was solved. Very clever, in my opinion. I'm the kind of person that has to complete every puzzle as well as every mini-game, and doing that kept me busy for many hours. I would reccommend this game to anyone that likes a challenge and loves all kinds of puzzles. Very fun! I was sad when it ended though. I wanted it to go on forever LOL. I have not played the Curious village, but plan to get it ASAP.Get more detail about Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box.
Cheapest Wii Play with Wii Remote
These games are pretty basic. We bought this game because it came with a Wii remote. It was cheaper than buying just the Wii remote. My 4 year old son likes the fishing game. The worst part is when you first start playing this game you have to play them in order. Get more detail about Wii Play with Wii Remote.
Cheap Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
After Getting Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days I was instantly Hooked. Roxas Has been one of my favorite Characters in the Kingdom Hearts series. Seeing him leave after just a few hours in KH2 made me sad. I always felt he had a interesting story to him. This game brought Back all that for me. Someone stated before that this game takes place after Chain of Memories, but some of it is before CoM. It's prety much Roxas' whole story. What he did in the organization, how he was personality wise, etc. It has some memorable moments through the game. Seeing Roxas show soo much emotion with everything kinda gave you the feeling he wasn't a Nobody.
Now for the game talk.
Gameplay:
Downers:Alot of repetitive things. Missions constantly in same worlds. Same goals for clears.
Pluses: Panel system( Felt alot like FFVII),Control is pretty fluid for a DS game, just was designed very well for Action RPG.
Also if anyone is wondering My Game clear time was about 31 hours, But I'm sure if you complete everything you can make it longer.
Graphics:
Graphics Wowed me, especially the Cutscenes.
Difficulty:
I played on medium mode I believe. The Game itself was not difficult that way, but some Bosses were just a pain in the rear. I think I'd get more annoyed by those bosses on harder difficulties than I would Find it hard.
Sound:
Lots of Popular music from previous Kingdom Hearts. Musical Score usually great on SE games.
Overall I game KH 358/2 a 5 simply because I love the main character and I found it delightful to see his story. I do however understand why others may have rated this game low.
Also just as stated in a previous review the game was very similar in elements to FFVII: Crisis Core.
Ultimately if you are a Kingdom Hearts Fan you should pick up this game, I found it worth my money spent and I hope you will too.Get more detail about Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
Buying Scribblenauts
This is a must own game if you have a DS, whether you are young or old. The game has it's quirks but what game doesn't? The controls are a little weird at first but I got used to them fairly quickly. The biggest drawback of the game I feel is when the camera snaps back to Maxwell (your character). If you are on the other side of the level doing something, the camera will scroll back over to Maxwell if you don't do anything for a few seconds.
One thing everyone should know about this game is that it is as fun as you make it. If you don't have a decent imagination, you probably will struggle with it. The thing I really like about the game is that as you progress you are always prompted with puzzles that get you thinking about objects you might not have thought about before. These are simple levels that ask you to just summon objects (like given a specific type of person a corresponding object/food) which gets your mind thinking.Get more detail about Scribblenauts.
Buy Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story
(I would like to put a disclaimer that 3 1/2 Stars means Good, not Bad)
I'm beginning to think if you stick Mario's name on any game, it becomes a bonafide hit: he's conquered platforming, racing, sports (kinda) and once agian, role playing. Mario and Luigi BIS carries the quality that we've grown to expect into another good role playing game.
Mario rpg's have always been known for the fun dialouge. Of course, BIS keeps the fire coming with more witty dialouge, and fun characters. Bowser has sucked the Bros inside his body in a hair-brained scheme to take over Mushroom Kingdom (that went horribly wrong, as usuall). They must work co-operativly to retake the Kingdom from Lord Fawful. All characters dialouge is well written, especially Bowser, but does tend to drag on more than it's needed.
Combat varies from fun to tedious. The mechanics are classic turn-based Mario rpg attackes, but another trend BIS brings with it is too common enemy encounters. The fun sucks out quick by not necessarily hard fights, but long ones. Thankfully, whenever the game reaches a lull (whether in combat in or bland level designs) the pace does get mixed up nicely with constant new mini game mechanics.
Mario and Luigi BIS sticks to it's core basics, whether it be in combat, the writting, or in length (20 hrs plus is what I think I'm gonna be looking at), but if you are looking for a good DS RPG, this is the hottest game on the market....Love that box art too, by the way.Get more detail about Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story.

Where To Buy Limited-Edition Wii Sports Resort Bundle with Two Wii MotionPlus
Wii Sports Resort is a great cold-weather activity for my kids, and you can't beat the value for this bundle with two Wii MotionPlus adapters. If you value each MotionPlus at $20, then you get the Sports Resort game for only $17! We use this game almost every night for our 2 girls, age 7 and 4-1/2, to get them up off the couch and moving around after dinner, rather than just watching TV.
My 4-1/2 year old loves Wakeboarding the most, because she was able to figure out how to do very high jumps pretty quickly. She also likes skydiving, flying around in a plane, and dog frisbee. My 7-year-old likes many of the sports, but her particular favorites are swordfighting, archery, and frisbee golf. I'd buy the game just for frisbee golf, actually. My 7-year-old is surprisingly competitive in frisbee golf against me and my father, because you don't have to hit a small target - you just have to throw the frisbee within a yard of the hole to get it in. Many of the games are loads of fun for my girls to compete against each other, against their friends, or against me and my wife.
Also, even though many of the games are somewhat simplistic, we get lots of repeated play by seeing which of us has the high-score crown at any time. The game awards a high score crown for every sport, and at every difficulty level, so each of my girls can have multiple high scores simultaneously. Whenever any of them gets a new crown, they even make me take a picture of them standing next to the crown. You also get various awards (stamps) for accomplishing certain things, like becoming a pro or passing the 10th or 20th swordfighting level, which gives the girls something to shoot for after they master the basic game controls.
This game has continued to be played almost every day in our house since it was released in July, and the girls have not gotten bored of it yet. With the addition of the two MotionPlus adapters, I recommend that every Wii owner purchase this bundle!Get more detail about Limited-Edition Wii Sports Resort Bundle with Two Wii MotionPlus.

Shop For Wii Fit Plus
When the original Wii Fit was released, I found it to be enjoyable and good for light exercise, but I thought there were some obvious--and seemingly simple to add--features missing. Most notably, I wanted to be able to customize a workout without having to select exercises one at a time. My primary interest in Wii Fit Plus was therefore due to the customizable workouts.
As others have mentioned, there are 15 new games/exercises that are grouped under a new category called "Training Plus". I have found them to be pretty good overall; some are fun, some are good exercise, some are both (I especially like the Obstacle Course and Island Cycling). There are three new Yoga exercises and three new Strength exercises; honestly I haven't even looked at them since they were not a strong selling point for me.
There is a "locker room" available in which you can choose pre-programmed routines, which are generally three exercises of a 6-8 minute duration in all that are targeted towards a specific goal (Warm Up, Relaxation, Hips, Arms, etc.). These can be combined but not further customized.
You can create your own routine under "My Routine" within the locker room as well, and as that was my primary interest, I will elaborate. You can choose any combination of strength and yoga exercises; the total minutes will be calculated for you. Once you begin the routine, the Wii will automatically cycle you through your exercises one after another. This can reduce the total time spent dramatically; for example, suppose you want to follow the Push Up/Side Plank with the Jackknife. Before, you'd finish the first exercise, grab the remote and press A several times while getting your score, ranking, feedback, encouragement, etc., etc. Then you'd select the other exercise, get out of the floor and stand on the board for a few seconds, and then get back down in the floor. Now, you just wait in the floor while the second exercise loads. MUCH faster, and with enough exercises in a row you actually can feel like it's a real workout. I would estimate that doing 30 minutes of activity now takes 5-10 minutes less of actual elapsed time.
However, there are still some obvious flaws with the new implementation. First, you can only select strength and yoga exercises; no balance games, no aerobics, none of the 15 new Training Plus modules. Second, you can only have one exercise routine per Mii. If you want an upper body workout and a lower body workout separately, you're out of luck. Finally, you are defaulted to the minimum number of reps, and you can't change that. If you select Jackknife, you're doing 10. Ditto for lunges. Push Ups? You'll do 6. I can't imagine that it would have taken much effort to allow that extra level of customization.
I like the Wii Fit Plus overall, and I think it was worthwhile. But, the fifth star would've been so easy to earn from me, and it came up short. Get more detail about Wii Fit Plus.
